another view of the robot i built. he is predominantly steel, but also has elements made from ceramic, thermoformed ptg plastic, wood paneling, silicone and clock parts.
Daily DeviationGiven 2009-09-11steel robot 001 front by ~jashawk. At about 3 feet tall and over 100 lbs, the artist said of his mostly metal robot that "His body is mig welded sheet steel, the dome is thermoformed ptg, and he has a door that opens in his ass for easy maintenance." The suggester said that he "obviously put a lot of time, skill, and effort into a subject he clearly loves (his gallery's full of robots), and I believe it shows."
