Armored Squid by jashawk Armored Squid by jashawk
this piece is polychromed steel and is about 5 feet long. its the first piece that i didn't have a single snag on and so was able to crank it out in about 20 hours. check back soon for a detail shot of the tentacle/vagina area. cheers!

Vagina area?
ahahah, ew.
But really neat, I wish I could work with steal or any metal really. I would just burn my hands off or something.

Very nice shape, great contrast between the super smooth shell and the textured tentacles. Those tentacles move right?

Cool and creepy. I think there'd be some serious double taking running across this guy. 5 feet, it's gotta be a pain to transport.

Whoah.

That thing's got to be scary.
I thought it was a 3d model at first, too - the studio shot makes it kind of unreal. I'd love to see it in a "natural" environment!
Wait, did you say it moves?

not on its own... but it will be in a show in a couple of weeks, leaking motor oil onto a white lace tablecloth! cheers

Fancy piece of work you got here! Looks like it could be scuttling around on a desktop if you found the on switch.

Also: nothin' says "I love you" like a clasping steel vagina.
